Electronic Communications and Consent

1. Electronic records
By ticking the electronic records box where it is shown, you agree to receive the agreements, account notices, billing receipts, refund confirmations, waiver copies and affiliate statements for your use of Lost Soul MMA services electronically. You can view and save them from our websites, or ask us for a copy by email.
Electronic acceptance, including a ticked box recorded with the document version, time and account, is intended to be legally binding under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) and the Michigan Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (MCL 450.831 et seq.).
2. What you need
An internet-connected device, a current web browser, a working email address, and software that can display or save PDF and web documents. Keep your email address up to date.
3. Email we send
- Account and security email: verification links, password resets, sign-in and security alerts, and affiliate payout and reversal notices. These are sent through Resend, our email provider.
- Transactional email: receipts, booking and class confirmations, and changes to your membership.
- Marketing email: sent only where you have agreed. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary account or legal messages.
4. Text messages
We do not send marketing text messages. If we ever do, we will ask for your separate consent first, and every message will say how to stop.
5. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent to electronic records by contacting us. This does not affect records and signatures already completed. If electronic delivery is essential to a service, we will tell you what that means for the service before we act on the withdrawal.
6. Consent records
We keep a record of each consent: the document, its version, the time, the account, the method, and the IP address. We keep these records for as long as they are needed to show compliance, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
7. Procedures
To receive records electronically you need the equipment listed in section 2. We will tell you of any change that affects access. You can ask for a paper copy of any record at no charge. To withdraw consent, use section 5. Withdrawing consent stops future electronic delivery but does not change records already delivered. Records are kept in the format in which they were delivered and can be printed or saved.
8. Sample wording for the sign-up box
"I agree to receive my agreements and account notices electronically, and to use electronic signatures for this transaction. I can ask for copies and can withdraw this consent as described in Electronic Communications."
